Michael E. Petrella, Partner
Michael E. Petrella was admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York in 1995 and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York in 2001. Mr. Petrella graduated cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1994 and received his B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College in 1991. Mr. Petrella was a Contributing Editor of the Case Western Reserve Law Review.
Mr. Petrella specializes in complex commercial litigation. He has successfully litigated numerous business disputes at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal court. His experience includes litigating matters involving securities fraud, intellectual property and civil RICO. Mr. Petrella has also handled internal shareholder disputes and leveraged buy-out suits. He has vast experience handling discovery and dispositive motion practice in large, document intensive financial matters. Mr. Petrella also has extensive experience litigating investor and financial industry arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the American Arbitration Association and the New York Stock Exchange.
